Symptoms

Po pomyślnym zarejestrowaniu serwera Linux AIX Server w programie PowerProtect Data Manager kolejne zadanie wykrywania może zakończyć się niepowodzeniem z następującym błędem:

ASDS0009
An exception occurred while discovering Applications System for AddOn FILE_SYSTEM_CLUSTER on host <Linux\AIX Server>: 
Process /opt/dpsapps/fsagent/bin/ddfscon failed with error code 1

The Application System discovery was unsuccessful.
Recommended Action: 
Check the log files at INSTALL_DIR\DPSAPPS\AGENTSERVICE\logs.
Where INSTALL_DIR is the directory on the user machine where the agent service is installed.
If the issue persists, contact Dell Customer Support.

Cause

Adres IPv6 to wpis w katalogu /etc/hosts na serwerze Linux AIX, którego brakuje lub który został zakomentowany.

Ten /etc/hosts na serwerze Linux AIX powinien zawierać następujące wiersze:

    127.0.0.1   localhost localhost.localdomain localhost4 localhost4.localdomain4
    ::1         localhost localhost.localdomain localhost6 localhost6.localdomain6

Resolution

Aby rozwiązać ten problem, dodaj lub usuń komentarz z brakującego wiersza w /etc/hosts file i uruchom ponownie usługę agenta PowerProtect.
