Symptoms

Depois de registrar com sucesso um servidor Linux AIX com o PowerProtect Data Manager, o trabalho de detecção subsequente pode falhar com o seguinte erro:

ASDS0009
An exception occurred while discovering Applications System for AddOn FILE_SYSTEM_CLUSTER on host <Linux\AIX Server>: 
Process /opt/dpsapps/fsagent/bin/ddfscon failed with error code 1

The Application System discovery was unsuccessful.
Recommended Action: 
Check the log files at INSTALL_DIR\DPSAPPS\AGENTSERVICE\logs.
Where INSTALL_DIR is the directory on the user machine where the agent service is installed.
If the issue persists, contact Dell Customer Support.

No OpAgnetSVC*.log no servidor Linux AIX, os seguintes erros

Cause

Os IPv6 são a entrada no /etc/hosts no servidor Linux AIX que está ausente ou comentado.

O /etc/hosts no servidor Linux AIX deve ter as seguintes linhas:

    127.0.0.1   localhost localhost.localdomain localhost4 localhost4.localdomain4
    ::1         localhost localhost.localdomain localhost6 localhost6.localdomain6

Resolution

Para resolver o problema, adicione ou remova o comentário da linha ausente no /etc/hosts file e reinicie o serviço PowerProtect Agent.
