Symptoms

После успешной регистрации сервера Linux AIX в PowerProtect Data Manager последующее задание обнаружения может завершиться сбоем со следующей ошибкой:

ASDS0009
An exception occurred while discovering Applications System for AddOn FILE_SYSTEM_CLUSTER on host <Linux\AIX Server>: 
Process /opt/dpsapps/fsagent/bin/ddfscon failed with error code 1

The Application System discovery was unsuccessful.
Recommended Action: 
Check the log files at INSTALL_DIR\DPSAPPS\AGENTSERVICE\logs.
Where INSTALL_DIR is the directory on the user machine where the agent service is installed.
If the issue persists, contact Dell Customer Support.

Cause

Адреса IPv6 являются входом в /etc/hosts отсутствует или закомментирован файл на сервере Linux AIX.

Тем /etc/hosts на сервере Linux AIX должны содержать следующие строки:

    127.0.0.1   localhost localhost.localdomain localhost4 localhost4.localdomain4
    ::1         localhost localhost.localdomain localhost6 localhost6.localdomain6

Resolution

Для решения этой проблемы добавьте или раскомментируйте отсутствующую строку в /etc/hosts file и перезапустите службу агента PowerProtect.
