Symptoms

Der Node fehlt in der physischen Seitenansicht (VMK1 wird nicht mehr angezeigt).

Cause

CIM Agenten sind auf dem Node deaktiviert.
 

Resolution

  1. Stellen Sie sicher, dass wbem aktiviert ist: esxcli system wbem get
  2. Wenn die wbem deaktiviert ist, aktivieren Sie es mit dem Befehl: esxcli system wbem set enable true
  3. Überprüfen Sie, ob alle wbem Provider werden geladen: localcli system wbem provider list 
    [root@node1:] localcli system wbem provider list

  4. Falls vorhanden wbem Provider nicht geladen werden, aktivieren CIM Bedienstete (sfcbd-watchdog & wsman) mit den folgenden Befehlen. 
    [root@vxrail-zone2-node-03:/opt/dell/srvadmin/iSM/bin] chkconfig sfcbd-watchdog
sfcbd-watchdog          off
[root@vxrail-zone2-node-03:/opt/dell/srvadmin/iSM/bin] chkconfig sfcbd-watchdog on
[root@vxrail-zone2-node-03:/opt/dell/srvadmin/iSM/bin] /etc/init.d/sfcbd-watchdog status
sfcbd is not running
[root@vxrail-zone2-node-03:/opt/dell/srvadmin/iSM/bin] /etc/init.d/sfcbd-watchdog start
sfcbd-init: Getting Exclusive access, please wait...
sfcbd-init: Exclusive access granted.
sfcbd-init: Request to start sfcbd-watchdog, pid 2111224
sfcbd-config[2111234]: Configuration not changed, already enabled

[root@vxrail-zone2-node-03:/opt/dell/srvadmin/iSM/bin] /etc/init.d/wsman start

  5. Überprüfen Sie, ob vmk1 jetzt auf dem Node erstellt wurde.
  6. Überprüfen Sie die physische Seite und der Node ist funktionsfähig.
