VxRail: Knooppunt zit vast in een opstartlus bij het koppelen van RASR

Symptoms

Tijdens het opnieuw opstarten van een knooppunt wordt in de console van het knooppunt trying to mount RASR. Na een poging om te vinden RASR volumes vijf keer, het upgradeproces brengt u naar de VxRail RASR menu.

Wanneer u dit menu afsluit, komt u in een lus terecht die u terugbrengt naar de VxRail RASR menu (waar u kunt kiezen reset/rasr/quit menu).

Cause

Opstartsequenties in de BIOS-instellingen zijn onjuist ingesteld. De opstartvolgorde bevat niet de Satadom/BOSS Module vermeld als het primaire opstartapparaat.

Resolution

Controleer de optie voor opstartvolgorde:

  1. Start het knooppunt opnieuw op.
  2. Druk op F2 tijdens de Power On Self-test (POST) om naar de System Setup te gaan
  3. Voer het wachtwoord in: emcbios.
  4. Selecteer System BIOS.
  5. Selecteer in het menu System BIOS Settings de optie Boot Settings.
  6. Selecteer de selectie BIOS-opstartinstellingen.
  7. Selecteer Hard-Disk Drive Sequence.
  8. Gebruik in het venster Order wijzigen de knop " + " (en) om de Embedded SATA Port DiskD: SATADOM als de bovenste selectie en klik op OK.


Zorg ervoor dat de volgende twee vakjes zijn aangevinkt:

Check: Hard Drive C:

Check: Integrated NIC 1 Port 1 Partition 1: IBA XE Slot 0100 v2364

Wijzig de volgorde van de opstartvolgorde in het BIOS in:

1) Embedded Sata Port Disk J: SATADOM-ML 3SE (or BOSS)
2) Integrated Storage Controller 1: #0300 IDOA LUNO TOSHIBA PX05SMB040Y
3) Internal SD: IDSDM
