Symptoms
Under oppgraderingen av en VxRack Flex RCM mistet en server kommunikasjonen mellom SDS og alle SDC-ene.
Cause
Av en eller annen grunn ble dupleksen og hastigheten på vmnic0 tilbakestilt til halv dupleks og automatisk forhandle.
Da systemet ble tatt opp, forsøkte Scaleio å kjøre I / O over dette NIC, og det fortsatte å mislykkes fordi Scaleio prøvde å bruke full dupleks og 10000 hastighet.
Dette førte til at Cisco-svitsjen gikk ned i porten vmnic0 var på siden svitsjen trodde porten var flagrende på grunn av en nettverksfeil.

Resolution
1) Angi de riktige innstillingene på vmnic-porten I dette tilfellet var det full dupleks og 10000 hastighet.
2) Sprett porten på Cisco-svitsjen:
Putty til Cisco-svitsjen som eier porten som skal returneres.
