Symptoms

Upgrade Unity OE to Unity OE 4.4.x and above.

Replication health status may intermittently logged on either replication target site and or replication source site with the following informational messages than it self-recovered within minutes without any intervention.

EMCSystemLogFile.log
"2019-01-12T06:29:26.820Z" "spb" "Neo_CEM" "15267" "N/A" "WARN" "14:6077f" :: "Replication session rep_sess_res_9_res_6_ABCD1234500011_ABCD1234500010 can not update destination because destination pool is full." :: Category=User Component=Health
"2019-01-12T06:30:27.896Z" "spb" "Neo_CEM" "15267" "N/A" "INFO" "14:60771" :: "Replication session rep_sess_res_9_res_6_ABCD1234500011_ABCD1234500010 is operating normally" :: Category=User Component=Health

Note:
  • No issue with that replication session when replication heath logged the message.
  • Neither of the storage pool from either replication site is lack of free space.

Cause

The affected filesystem total size include a decimal value.

Resolution

Upgrade Unity OE code when the permanent fix is available.

The following workaround can be apply to prevent replication health status from intermittently logging the issue

Workaround:
  1.  Pause  the affected filesystem replication from replication source site.
  2.  Extend  the affected filesystem size from replication source site.
  3.  Resume  the affected fileystem replication.
  4. Verify on replication target site that the affected filesystem size is also extended and matching source site.

Note:
Extend the affected filesystem size to some non-decimal value.

Example
Current filesystem size is 100.55 GB, extend it to 101 GB or larger.

Additional Information

This issue only affect asynchronous filesystem replication.

This issue will be fixed in future Unity OE code release.
