Symptoms

Lo stato del DOM è cambiato da "attivo e in esecuzione" a un altro stato.

Il DOM contiene le informazioni di avvio per il nodo. Se il nodo viene riavviato mentre si verifica un errore DOM, potrebbe non tornare correttamente online.

È stato rilevato un errore DOM in ECS.

Cause

Si è verificato un errore con il DOM sul nodo segnalato.

Resolution

Verificare che il problema sia ancora presente:

  1. Elencare i dischi utilizzando cs_hal per trovare l'ID dispositivo del DOM. Dovrebbe essere la prima unità interna elencata.
# sudo /opt/emc/sbin/iSMART_64 -d /dev/sda

  1. Controllare lo stato del DOM utilizzando cs_hal. Si trova nel campo "state".

  1. Se si verifica un errore del DOM, il supporto Dell può ricreare l'immagine del nodo in modo che si avvii sull'unità SSD anziché sul DOM. Aprire una Service Request e fare riferimento a questo articolo della KB.

A volte, a seconda del modello DOM; L'output intelligente può essere simile al seguente. Vengono riportati tutti i valori zero (0) e nessuna percentuale di integrità. Anche questo viene considerato un DOM non riuscito.
