Symptoms

Der folgende Fehler wird während der Lizenzinstallation angezeigt, nachdem der Utility-Node ersetzt wurde:

ERROR: avmaint: license: server_exception(MSG_ERR_NOTSTARTED)

Cause

Der ASCD-Service (Avamar Services Control Daemon) ist auf dem Avamar Utility Node ausgefallen.

Resolution

  1. Melden Sie sich beim Avamar Utility Node an als admin.
  2. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der ASCD-Service nicht ausgeführt wird. Mit dem folgenden Befehl wird keine Ausgabe erzeugt, wenn der ASCD-Service ausgefallen ist. Wenn der Dienst ausgeführt wird, verwenden Sie diese Lösung nicht mehr 
    ps -ef |grep ascd |grep -v "grep"
  3. Starten Sie ASCD neu: 
    ascd start

  1. Überprüfen Sie, ob der ASCD-Service ausgeführt wird: 
    ps -ef |grep ascd |grep -v "grep"

  1.  Wenden Sie die neue Lizenz an:  
    avmaint license /tmp/ --ava
