In dit artikel wordt beschreven hoe u de functie SupportAssist inschakelt op Dell Networking en legacy Force10 S-serie switches. In het onderstaande configuratievoorbeeld vindt u een overzicht van de noodzakelijke opdrachten via de opdrachtregelinterface om SupportAssist in te schakelen en te configureren.

Beschrijving van de functie


SupportAssist is een automatiseringsfunctie waarmee ondersteunde switches diagnose- en probleemoplossingsinformatie rechtstreeks aan Dell kunnen doorgeven, zoals:
  • Hardwarewaarschuwingen
  • Systeemfouten
  • Wijzigingen in linkconnectiviteit
Als u een actueel ProSupport- of ProSupport Plus-recht op de switch hebt, kan SupportAssist ook automatisch technische supportcases aanmaken en e-mailwaarschuwingen verzenden wanneer significante connectiviteits- of hardwareproblemen worden gedetecteerd.

   

SupportAssist is alleen beschikbaar op switches uit de S serie die werken op firmwareversie 9.9.0.0 of hoger.
 
Voor SupportAssist is installatie van SmartScripts-automatiseringspakket versie 9.7.0.0 of hoger op de switch vereist. Het SmartScripts-automatiseringspakket kan worden gedownload van de Dell Networking Force10 supportsite.

  1. Controleer of het SmartScripts-pakket is geïnstalleerd.

  1. Accepteer de licentieovereenkomst voor eindgebruikers (EULA) om SupportAssist in te schakelen.

Aanvullende SupportAssist-opdrachten

 
  • Als u SupportAssist wilt uitschakelen, wijst u de EULA af met de algemene opdracht eula-consent support-assist reject.
Dell(conf)# eula-consent support-assist reject
I do not accept the terms of the license agreement. The SupportAssist feature has
 been deactivated and can no longer be used.
 To enable SupportAssist configurations, accept the terms of the license agreement
by configuring this command 'eula-consent support-assist accept'.
SupportAssist-configuratie is niet toegestaan als de EULA is afgewezen.
 
  • SupportAssist op switches uit de S serie bevat begeleide instructies om u te helpen bij de configuratie. Start de wizard SupportAssist met de algemene opdracht support-assist activeren.

SupportAssist feature. If at any time you wish to exit the wizard, enter control-C.
  • De huidige status van SupportAssist kan worden weergegeven met behulp van support-assiststatus weergeven.
