Descrição do recurso


O SupportAssist é um recurso de automação que permite que os switches compatíveis comuniquem informações de diagnóstico e solução de problemas diretamente à Dell, como:
  • Alertas de hardware
  • Falhas no sistema
  • Alterações na conectividade do link
Se você tiver direito atual ao ProSupport ou ProSupport Plus no switch, o SupportAssist também poderá criar automaticamente casos de suporte técnico e enviar alertas por e-mail quando forem detectados problemas significativos de conectividade ou hardware.

   

O SupportAssist só está disponível em switches da série S que operam com a versão de firmware 9.9.0.0 ou superior.
 
O SupportAssist requer a instalação do pacote de automação SmartScripts versão 9.7.0.0 ou superior no switch. É possível fazer download do pacote de automação SmartScripts no site de suporte do Dell Networking Force10.

 


Ativar o SupportAssist

 
  1. Verifique se o pacote SmartScripts está instalado.

  1. Aceite o acordo de licença de usuário final (EULA) para habilitar o SupportAssist.

Comandos adicionais do SupportAssist

 
  • Para desativar o SupportAssist, rejeite o EULA usando o comando global eula-consent support-assist reject.
Dell(conf)# eula-consent support-assist reject
I do not accept the terms of the license agreement. The SupportAssist feature has
 been deactivated and can no longer be used.
 To enable SupportAssist configurations, accept the terms of the license agreement
by configuring this command 'eula-consent support-assist accept'.
A configuração do SupportAssist não será permitida se o EULA for rejeitado.
 
  • O SupportAssist nos switches da Série S inclui prompts guiados para auxiliar na configuração. Inicie o assistente do SupportAssist usando o comando global support-assist activate.
Dell(conf)# support-assist activate
This configuration wizard will take you all the basic steps for configuring the
SupportAssist feature. If at any time you wish to exit the wizard, enter control-C.
