Instructions

Depuis la publication d’ObjectScale, l’outil a été réécrit en raison des différentes versions de Python entre ECS et ObjectScale. La dernière version est ecs_certificate_tool-1.7.

  • Pour une utilisation dans ECS : ecs_certificate_tool.py
  • Pour utiliser ObjectScale : obs_certificate_tool.py

Installation

  1. Téléchargez la dernière version de l’outil en pièce jointe dans cet article de la base de connaissances
  2. Téléchargez l’outil sur /home/admin sur l’un des nœuds ECS.
  3. Passez à la /home/admin et extrayez le package.
$ cd /home/admin
$ unzip ecs_certificate_tool-1.7.zip
  1. Accédez au répertoire de l’outil de certificat.
$ cd ecs_certificate_tool-1.7
  1. Configurez les informations d’identification de l’interface utilisateur racine pour l’outil à utiliser.
Commande :
$ python ecs_certificate_tool.py configure_credentials
Exemple :
admin@:~/ecs_certificate_tool-1.7> python ecs_certificate_tool.py configure_credentials

  1. Utilisez l’outil de certificat pour générer votre configuration SAN (Subject Alternative Name). Vous devez ajouter manuellement le b>fqdn et ip-address de votre équilibreur de charge si vous en utilisez un.

Télécharger votre certificat

Si vous utilisez un certificat auto-signé généré par cet outil, la clé privée et le certificat se trouvent déjà dans votre répertoire actuel.

Si vous disposez d’un certificat signé par une autorité de certification, téléchargez-le dans ECS et placez-le dans le répertoire de l’outil de certificat.
 

Remarque : assurez-vous de télécharger la chaîne de certificats complète (racine/intermédiaire) si nécessaire pour votre environnement. Voir #ECS : Outil de certificat SSL de gestion et de données , si nécessaire.


Certificat de données

Commande :

$ python ecs_certificate_tool.py upload_certificate -c <path to certificate> -p <path to private key> --data

Après avoir téléchargé le certificat, vous disposez de deux options :

  1. Attendez 2 heures dataheadsvc pour propager le nouveau certificat sur l’ensemble du cluster.
  2. Redémarrer manuellement dataheadsvc sur le nœud à partir duquel vous avez exécuté l’outil, mais n’oubliez pas que cela peut avoir un impact bref.

Commande pour redémarrer dataheadsvc :

# sudo kill -9 `pidof dataheadsvc`


Certificat de gestion

Commande :

$ python ./ecs_certificate_tool.py upload_certificate -c <path to certificate> -p <path to private key> --management

Après avoir téléchargé le nouveau certificat de gestion, vous devez effectuer des redémarrages consécutifs de objcontrolsvc/nginx sur l’ensemble du cluster. Cela peut avoir un impact minime sur l’accès à l’interface utilisateur.

  1. Générez un fichier MACHINES à l’échelle du cluster :
$ sudo getclusterinfo -a /root/MACHINES.VDC && sudo viprscp -f /root/MACHINES.VDC /root/MACHINES.VDC /root/;sudo viprscp -f /root/MACHINES.VDC /root/MACHINES.VDC /home/admin/;sudo viprexec -i -f /home/admin/MACHINES.VDC "pingall; md5sum /root/MACHINES.VDC /home/admin/MACHINES.VDC" 
  1. Redémarrer objcontrolsvc Sur l’ensemble du cluster :
$ viprexec -f ~/MACHINES.VDC -i 'pidof objcontrolsvc; kill -9 `pidof objcontrolsvc`; sleep 60; pidof objcontrolsvc'
  1. Redémarrer nginx Sur l’ensemble du cluster :
$ viprexec -f ~/MACHINES.VDC -i -c "/etc/init.d/nginx restart;sleep 60;/etc/init.d/nginx status"

                     For ECS use ecs_certificate_tool.py
                     For ObjectScale use: obs_certificate_tool.py
