Symptoms

Preupgrade health check (PUHC) fails with:
The datapath Registry has non-default settings on disk. These settings may not be appropriate post-upgrade. Inspect on-disk Registry settings and unset any that are no longer relevant. (registry_overrides_present).

Cause

This issue occurs when internal parameters have been changed in a previous support case.

Resolution

Contact Dell Support for assistance. Reference article number 000202694 for expedited service.

Support reviews the asset history and assesses whether the nondefault parameters remain applicable after the NDU. Support advises on the most appropriate next steps Pre and Post-NDU based on this evaluation.
