程序：

  1. 下載 與升級 VxRail 程式碼相符的 VxRail 升級 組合式套裝 。解壓縮 ESXi 更新 depot.zip 從 VxRail 更新組合套裝資料夾。

下載套裝範例

  1. 上傳 ESXi 更新 depot.zip 從升級組合式套裝至 /scratch 使用 SFTP 的見證。
  2. 讓 見證 進入 維護模式。
  3. SSH 至 Witness 應用裝置
  4. 在 上傳時獲取可用的 配置檔 。depot.zip 使用命令：
esxcli software sources profile list --depot='path/to/esxi/.zip'

  1. 無 工具設定檔 為必要項目，因為佔用的空間較少。見證裝置上不需要 VMtools，因為它無法執行 VM。
  2. 執行 命令：
esxcli software profile update -p 'name of image profile' --depot='path/to/esxi/.zip'

Update Result

重要注意事項：
  • 重新啟動 見證。
  • 移除 上傳的升級 depot.zip 從 /scratch 隔。
rm path/to/esxi/.zip

範例：

rm /vmfs/volumes/61f8cb7a-94b3a685-a859-005056810acd/VMware-ESXi-7.0U3g-20328353-depot.zip
rm: remove '/vmfs/volumes/61f8cb7a-94b3a685-a859-005056810acd/VMware-ESXi-7.0U3g-20328353-depot.zip'? y

(note scratch is a symlink to a UUID, your scratch partition UUID is different from the example)
  • 見證開機回到維護模式後，請檢查見證 ESXi 組建是否反映出想要更新的 ESXi 組建版本。檢查組建是否與 VxRail 主機相同，或是 VxRail 升級程式碼的 ESXi 版本。
