过程：

  1. 下载 与升级 VxRail 代码匹配的 VxRail 升级 组合捆绑包 。提取 ESXi 更新 depot.zip 从 VxRail 更新组合捆绑包文件夹中。

下载捆绑包示例

  1. 上传 ESXi 更新 depot.zip 从将组合捆绑包升级到 /scratch 使用 SFTP 的 Witness。
  2. 将 见证 置于 维护模式。
  3. 通过 SSH 连接到见证设备
  4. 在 上传时获取可用的 配置文件 。depot.zip 使用以下命令：
esxcli software sources profile list --depot='path/to/esxi/.zip'

  1. 需要无工具配置文件，因为它占用的空间较少，而 Witness 设备上不需要 VMtools，因为它无法运行虚拟机。

重要说明：
  • 重新启动 Witness。
  • 删除 已上传的升级 depot.zip 从 /scratch 分区。
rm path/to/esxi/.zip

示例：

rm /vmfs/volumes/61f8cb7a-94b3a685-a859-005056810acd/VMware-ESXi-7.0U3g-20328353-depot.zip

(note scratch is a symlink to a UUID, your scratch partition UUID is different from the example)
  • 在 Witness 引导回维护模式后，检查 Witness ESXi 内部版本是否反映了所需的更新版 ESXi 内部版本。检查内部版本是否与 VxRail 主机相同，或者是否与 VxRail 升级代码的 ESXi 版本相同。
