Instructions

Følgende trinn er utformet for å bryte Avamars sekvens av "loggkjede", noe som fører til "log gap"-feil:
  1. Utfør en full sikkerhetskopiering etterfulgt av Avamar-trinnvis sikkerhetskopiering. Hold oversikt over databaseoppføringene i sqlmeta.xml-filen .
  2. Utføre en opprinnelig SQL-trinnvis sikkerhetskopiering på databasen som fremtvinger LSN-endringen på SQL-siden. Hold oversikt over databaseoppføringer i sqlmeta.xml-filen .
  3. Kjør deretter Avamar inkrementell sikkerhetskopiering som forventes å rapportere en logggapfeil i databasen. Her legger vi merke til at oppføringen fra sqlmeta.xml filen blir fjernet. Sletting skjer bare for policydrevne inkrementelle sikkerhetskopier. Hvis en behovsbasert inkrementell sikkerhetskopiering kjøres, beholdes oppføringene i den sqlmeta.xml filen.
