Symptoms

Cause

특정 VM에 대해 생성할 수 있는 최대 스냅샷을 제어하는 vSphere 매개변수가 있습니다.
매개변수 이름은 snapshot.maxSnapshots이며 0 이하 값으로 설정되므로 생성할 스냅샷이 충분하지 않습니다.

Resolution

이미지 백업 프로세스를 수행하려면 가상 머신 스냅샷을 임시로 생성해야 합니다. 스냅샷 컨트롤은 VMware vCenter에 의해 구동됩니다. 따라서vCenter 끝에서 스냅샷 매개변수 값을 변경해야 합니다.

이 문제를 해결하려면 아래 지침을 따르십시오.

  1. vCenter에 로그인
  2. 가상 머신의 전원을 끕니다.
  3. 웹 클라이언트에서 가상 머신을 마우스 오른쪽 버튼으로 클릭하고 Edit Settings를 클릭한다.
  4. VM Options 탭을 클릭하고 Advanced에서 Edit Configuration 옵션을 선택합니다.
  5. snapshot.maxSnapshots라는 문자열 이름을 검색하고 값을 높입니다.
  6. OK를 클릭하여 변경 내용을 저장합니다.
  7. 가상 머신의 전원을 켜고 백업을 테스트합니다.
주의: VMware 기술 지원의 지침에 따라 snapshot.maxSnapshots 매개변수만 수정합니다. 허용되는 스냅샷 수를 최대 32개 이상으로 늘리는 것은 지원되지 않습니다.
