Symptoms

The alert 0x03700103 was raised for Node PSU has standby power failure.

In addition, simultaneously, PowerStore may report the alert 0x00305b03 Node's power supply unit has faulted.

Cause

Error Code 0x03700103
Description A short-circuit might exist in one of the nodes on the 12V Standby bus. While the appliance functions as expected when there is a short-circuit condition, if there is a power cycle the node does not restart. It is crucial to address this issue before encountering any power problems.
Resolution Solution
Contact Dell Support to review the underlying cause of the error and decide on the proper resolution. Replacement of the PSU is not the recommended course of action until confirmed by Technical Support.
