Symptoms
If Windows 2022 Operating System (OS) is installed on certain hard drives, such as the Seagate 8 TB SAS hard drive (PN: C5HD0), the boot device may be lost after the system performs a cold boot.

Cause
The current HBA355i TUR time is lower than the drive vendor recommendation of 60 sec by the host bus adapter (HBA) UEFI driver.
Resolution
The firmware update for HBA355i is scheduled for June 2025.
Workaround: Perform a warm boot if the server fails to boot to the operating system.
