Instructions

Dell’s state-of-art automated pipeline helps to validate and support vCenter updates as quickly as possible. However, some security-related express patches for vCenter are so critical that customers do not want to wait for the Dell’s validation to complete.

This procedure allows customers to use the Broadcom-provided vCenter Express patch package and update the vCenter servers that are managed by VxRail.

For detailed instructions on how to perform this operation, see the Broadcom article:

Caution: After applying a vCenter Express Patch, it is recommended that customers upgrade the cluster to the corresponding VxRail SimShip release or proceed with the next available VxRail update as soon as possible.
