Symptoms

Gebeurtenisbericht: 

400100007 SW_JOBENG_CLUSTER_FULL 400000000 Low free space 

Clustername-1 - Cluster is running low on free space: free space (1.99xxx%) < job-config core.free_blocks_pct_threshold_lo (2%)

Als het cluster te dicht bij de maximale capaciteit zit, is er mogelijk onvoldoende ruimte om data opnieuw te strippen als er sprake is van een hardwarefout. Dit kan uw gegevens in gevaar brengen.

Als het cluster bovendien de gebruikte capaciteit van 100% mag benaderen, kunnen belangrijke systeemprocessen niet meer goed functioneren totdat het schijfgebruik is verminderd.

Cause

Volledig cluster i.v.m. capaciteitsbeheer.

Resolution

Om ervoor te zorgen dat uw cluster altijd voldoende vrije ruimte beschikbaar heeft, volgt u de best practices voor capaciteitsbeheer van OneFS: Clustercapaciteitsbeheer | Dell PowerScale OneFS: Best practices | Dell Technologies Info Hub 

Enkele punten om de capaciteit te ontlasten:

  • Wijzig de betreffende schijfpool
  • Externe gegevens verwijderen 
  • Nieuwe knooppunten toevoegen aan bestaande clusters of groepen
  • Vervang knooppunten met een kleinere capaciteit door knooppunten met een grotere capaciteit
  • Maak meer clusters.
