Symptoms

生命周期显示 watchdog timer expired ESXi 节点上的警报。

Cause

未在 ESXi 上正常运行的 iSM 服务可能会导致此问题。iSM 服务通过 iDRAC 与作系统通信，如果存在问题，则预计会触发警报。

检查时 dcism 或 dellism，您会注意到以下状态之一： active not running, active running with limited functionality, or inactive dead

vSphere 7.x：

/etc/init.d/dcism-netmon-watchdog status

vSphere 8.x：

/etc/init.d/dellism status

Resolution

  1. 使用受影响节点的 SSH 连接到 ESXi。
  2. 检查 iSM 状态：

对于 vSphere 7.x：

/etc/init.d/dcism-netmon-watchdog status

对于 vSphere 8.x：

/etc/init.d/dellism status
  1. 如果 iSM 未运行，则 重新启动 iSM 服务 并在之后检查状态：

对于 vSphere 7.x：

/etc/init.d/sfcbd-watchdog stop
/etc/init.d/sfcbd-watchdog start
/etc/init.d/dcism-netmon-watchdog restart
/etc/init.d/dcism-netmon-watchdog status

对于 vSphere 8.x：

/etc/init.d/dellism stop
/etc/init.d/dellism start
/etc/init.d/dellism status

iSM 应已启动并正常运行。如果 iSM 仍未运行，则：

  • 重新启动 iDRAC
  • 等待直到 iDRAC 完全启动（应该不超过 5 分钟）
  • 使用以下命令重新启动 iSM 服务： esxcli 命令

如果仍未运行， powerdrain 节点并检查 iSM 状态。

一旦 iSM 显示正在运行，请清除 iDRAC 上的 SEL，它现在应显示为正常运行且 watchdog timer expired 不应触发警报。
