Avamar v7 引進用戶端「硬」和「軟」配額的概念，
當客戶端違反硬限制
時，Avamar 管理控制台服務 （MCS） 會取消備份。用戶端記錄報告：
avtar 資訊 <5314>：命令失敗 （1 個警告，結束代碼 10019：由系統管理員外部取消）
客戶端沒有配額的概念，配額是由Avamar MCS管理。
MCDB 活動表中的備份活動 hard_quota_exceeded 旗標標記為正確。
活動監視器回報「超過硬性限制」。
有一個報告篩選器，可讓用戶端的硬性限制超出其有效報告。
當客戶端違反軟限制
時備份可以自然地繼續執行。
用戶端記錄中沒有指出配額違約。
活動監視器未報告已超過軟限制。
活動報表包含右側 soft_quota_exceeded 的欄。無法篩選此欄，報告必須手動排序。
