Symptoms

AIX-Clients können NFSv4.0 in OneFS 9.3+ nicht mounten, wobei ein ungültiges Argument angezeigt wird.

Beim Mounten mit NFSv3 werden keine Probleme angezeigt. 

Beispiel für ein Verhalten:

# mount -o vers=4,soft powerscale:/ifs/AIX /mnt
mount: giving up on: 
	powerscale:/ifs/AIX
vmount : Invalid argument 

# mount -o vers=3,soft powerscale:/ifs/AIX /mnt
# ls /mnt
testfile
#

Cause

Der NFSv4-Mount von AIX enthält das Suppattr_ExclCreat Attributanforderung. Die Spalte Suppattr_ExclCreat ist Teil des NFSv4.1-Standards. 

Ab OneFS 9.3 unterstützt Powerscale jetzt NFSv4.1/4.2, während AIX nur NFSv4.0 unterstützt. 

Powerscale sieht also die Anforderung für 4.1-Attribute, aber da AIX nur 4.0 unterstützt, wird die Anforderung abgelehnt. Vor OneFS 9.3 war diese Anfrage in Ordnung, da Powerscale ebenfalls nur NFSv4.0 unterstützte.

IBM/AIX-Unterstützung muss aktiviert werden, damit der Client ein NFSv4.1-Attribut sendet, wenn nur NFSv4.0 unterstützt wird.
