Een poging om de Management Console Server (MCS)-services te starten resulteert in de volgende fout:

Volgens de bovenstaande uitvoer zit de fout in de naamresolutie, wat resulteert in een onbekende hostuitzondering:
java.net.UnknownHostException: <incorrect-hostname>: <incorrect-hostname>: Name or service not known
Wanneer de Java-code de lokale hostnaaminformatie probeert op te halen, mislukt dit vanwege een probleem met de hostnaamconfiguratie:

1. Voer de volgende opdracht uit om de hostnaam bij te werken:
hostname <correct-hostname>
Bijvoorbeeld: De hostnaam instellen op avamar-prod-fs1:
hostname avamar-prod-fs1
2. Controleer de hostnaamwaarden (met hetzelfde voorbeeld)
hostname
avamar-prod-fs1
hostname -f
avamar-prod-fs1.company.com
hostname -i
10.1.2.3
3. Start MCS en hervat de back-upplanner:
mcserver.sh --start
dpnctl start sched
