Symptoms

Les opérations RecoverPoint for Virtual Machines testent une copie et un basculement pour activer le système d’exploitation des machines virtuelles afin que l’utilisateur puisse les tester.

Dans ce cas, il a été noté que les machines virtuelles Windows étaient bloquées dans une boucle de démarrage. La console de la machine virtuelle affiche le logo Windows et un cercle en pointillés tournant en continu.

Cause

Pour l’état de réplication normal sur le site cible, le séparateur n’envoie pas de trafic aux RecoverPoint Appliances (RPA). Lors des opérations Test a Copy ou Failover, toutes les opérations d’écriture des machines virtuelles nécessitent un accusé de réception de la part des RPA.

Un problème de configuration réseau empêche le séparateur de communiquer avec la RPA, ce qui entraîne l’échec des écritures de la machine virtuelle cible et l’incapacité du système d’exploitation à démarrer correctement.

Resolution

Résolvez les problèmes de configuration réseau entre les hôtes ESXi et les appliances RecoverPoint. Valider correctement VMkernel Les adaptateurs sont configurés et, s’ils n’existent pas, ajoutez-les.

Suivez la section « Création VMkernel ports » à la page 116 du Guide de l’administrateur HTML5 de RecoverPoint.
