Symptoms

RecoverPoint for Virtual Machines 작업 복제본 테스트 및 페일오버에서는 사용자가 VM을 테스트할 수 있도록 VM 운영 체제를 불러옵니다.

이 경우 Windows VM이 부팅 루프에서 중단된 것으로 나타났습니다. VM 콘솔에 Windows 로고와 점선 원이 계속 회전합니다.

Cause

타겟 사이트의 정상적인 복제 상태에서는 스플리터가 RPA(RecoverPoint Appliance)로 트래픽을 전송하지 않습니다. 복제본 테스트 또는 페일오버 작업 중에 VM의 모든 쓰기 작업에는 RPA의 승인이 필요합니다.

네트워크 구성 문제로 인해 RPA 통신에 대한 스플리터가 차단되어 타겟 VM 쓰기가 실패하고 OS가 올바르게 부팅되지 않습니다.

Resolution

ESXi 호스트와 RecoverPoint 어플라이언스 간의 네트워크 구성 문제를 해결합니다. 올바른지 확인 VMkernel 어댑터가 구성되었으며 없는 경우 추가합니다.
