Isilon: How to determine why a node is in an attention state
Summary: When viewing the Status area of the Cluster Status page in the OneFS web administration interface, one or more nodes might be in an attention state. Nodes in attention state are indicated with a yellow dot in the Status column. It might not always be evident why the nodes are in this state. Viewing the Node Status page by clicking the node number in the ID column does not provide any additional information. Any node that is in an attention state has experienced an event that has not ended. This article explains how to use the OneFS web administration interface or the command line in OneFS to verify a node's attention status. ...
