Cause

Dell Client Management Service는 wintrust.dll(신뢰 파일을 확인하는 API 기능이 포함된 시스템 프로세스), 서명 또는 인증서를 사용합니다. API 출력에 따라 영향을 받는 컴퓨터에서 wintrust.dll의 WinVerifyTrust API가 호출될 때 Dell Client Management Service가 0 값을 받지 못합니다.

따라서 Dell Update Packages에서 서명을 가져오지 않습니다.

Resolution

엔지니어링 부서에서는 이 문제를 해결하기 위한 BIOS 업데이트를 출시했습니다. 업데이트된 BIOS를 사용할 수 있게 되면 컴퓨터의 지원 페이지에 게시됩니다.

참고:
  • 다양한 OptiPlex, Latitude 및 Precision 워크스테이션이 이 문제의 영향을 받습니다.
  • 2025년 1월 말 이후에 게시된 모든 BIOS 업데이트에는 인증서 패키징에 대한 업데이트가 있으므로 문제가 해결됩니다.
  • 2025년 1월 말까지 모든 컴퓨터가 BIOS 업데이트를 받는 것은 아니지만, 그 이후의 모든 업데이트에는 새 인증서 패키징이 포함되어야 합니다.
