Dell VxRail event code: VXR508PDR16
This event code indicates: "Predictive failure reported for <physical disk>."
Predictive failures can come from Self-Monitoring and Reporting Technology messages (SMART), from the storage drive.
These can indicate that a Hard Disk Drive (HDD) is running out of reserved space to remap bad blocks.
This event can also indicate that a solid state drive (SSD) is close to the maximum write endurance.
