Instructions
Configuring the ECS EX-Series Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC) or Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) on IP addresses other than the defaults deployed is not supported.
Unlike the ECS Generation 1/2 implementation - Remote Monitoring Management (RMM) physical interface which can be configured for customer use. The ECS EX-Series implementation requires the iDRAC physical interface to be configured on the 192.168.219.x subnet. This cannot be configured to a different physical connection or network IP subnet.
This feature has been slated for a future release of ECS software for the EX-Series to support custom iDRAC network IP configurations.
