Cause

Alkuperäisen SVM:n vmware-tools-prosessissa on ongelma, eikä VCenter pysty hakemaan IP-osoitteita siitä eikä siten määrittämään uusia SVM:iä vastaavasti.

Kun tarkastellaan VCenterin VM-yhteenvetovälilehteä, IP-osoitteiden luettelo on tyhjä, kuten alla olevasta näyttökuvasta näkyy. VMware Tools -tila voi kuitenkin olla Running.

Resolution

Tunnista kaikki (alkuperäiset) SVM:t, jotka eivät näytä IP-osoitteita vCenterissä, kirjaudu niihin ja käynnistä vmware-tools-prosessi uudelleen. Esimerkiksi:

systemctl restart vmtoolsd
