Symptoms

PowerProtect Data Manager （PPDM） 初始應用程式感知備份失敗

PPDM UI 工作的記錄顯示：

Cause

以前版本的 Microsoft SQL Application Direct 軟體是在某個時間點安裝的。當它從計算機中取出時，舊的加密箱被留下了。目前版本的軟體無法更新較舊的加密箱。

在使用較舊版本的軟體或從 SQL Application Direct Backup 轉換為 VMware Application Aware 備份時Microsoft可能會發生此問題。

 

Resolution

  1. 重新命名加密箱目錄

    ren  C:\Program Files\DPSAPPS\common\lockbox C:\Program Files\DPSAPPS\common\lockbox,previous

  2. 重試備份

注意：加密箱目錄會在下次備份開始時重新建立。
