PowerPath for Windows 6.4 (ja uudemmat) -isännän lisääminen PPMA

PPMA antaa virheilmoituksen:
"Error: Unable to add Host" when trying to add a Windows host running PowerPath 6.4 or above.

Error: Isäntää ei voi lisätä 

Cause

PowerPath for Windows v6.4 edellyttää, että OpenSSL-binaarit asennetaan manuaalisesti, koska PowerPath-paketti ei toimita OpenSSL-binäärejä.

PowerPath/Windows-isännän sovellustapahtumalokeissa näkyy seuraava virhe:   
EmcPowerPathManagementComponent  EMC PowerPath Error:  EMC PowerPath Remote Management component: Error: OpenSSL binaries are missing in windows\system32 directory and hence EMC PowerPath Remote Management Component service won't be started.

Resolution

Asenna OpenSSL Windows-isäntään, jonka versio riippuu PowerPath-versiosta. Katso PowerPathin asennus- ja hallintaoppaasta OpenSSL:n tarvittava versio.

Seuraava suositus mainitaan PowerPath 6.4:n asennus- ja hallintaoppaassa:    

PowerPath for 6.4 -versiosta alkaen Open SSL 1.0.x on asennettava manuaalisesti Windowsin oletusjärjestelmähakemistoon (C:\Windows \System32), jotta etähallinta toimii. EMC PowerPath Remote Management -komponenttipalvelun käynnistyminen edellyttää avointa SSL-suojausta. Jos Open SSL asennetaan PowerPath-asennuksen jälkeen, käynnistä EMC PowerPath Remote Management -osapalvelu manuaalisesti.
