용 PowerPath PPMA에서 다음 오류 메시지를 보고합니다.
"Error: Unable to add Host" when trying to add a Windows host running PowerPath 6.4 or above.

오류: PowerPath 6.4 이상을 실행하는 Windows 호스트를 추가하려고 할 때 호스트를 추가할 수 없습니다. 

Cause

PowerPath 패키지는 OpenSSL 바이너리를 함께 제공하지 않으므로 PowerPath for Windows v6.4는 OpenSSL 바이너리를 수동으로 설치해야 합니다.

다음은 PowerPath/Windows 호스트의 애플리케이션 이벤트 로그에 표시되는 오류입니다.   
EmcPowerPathManagementComponent  EMC PowerPath Error:  EMC PowerPath Remote Management component: Error: OpenSSL binaries are missing in windows\system32 directory and hence EMC PowerPath Remote Management Component service won't be started.

Resolution

Windows 호스트에 OpenSSL을 설치합니다. 버전은 PowerPath 버전에 따라 다릅니다. 필요한 OpenSSL 버전은 PowerPath 설치 및 관리 가이드를 참조하십시오.

다음은 PowerPath 6.4 설치 및 관리 가이드에 설명된 권장 사항입니다.    

PowerPath for Windows 6.4 릴리스부터 원격 관리가 작동하려면 Open SSL 1.0.x를 기본 Windows 시스템 디렉토리(C:\Windows\System32)에 수동으로 설치해야 합니다. EMC PowerPath Remote Management 구성 요소 서비스를 시작하려면 Open SSL이 필요합니다. PowerPath를 설치한 후 Open SSL을 설치한 경우 EMC PowerPath Remote Management 구성 요소 서비스를 수동으로 시작합니다.
