Symptoms
Der vises en aktiv advarsel i Data Domain CLI for en ikke-understøttet virtuel hardwarekonfiguration.
sysadmin@dd-4400# alerts show current-detailed Alert Id p0-12 Post Time Thu Jan 26 18:48:27 2023 Severity CRITICAL Class Environment Object Component=Memory Message Unsupported virtual hardware configuration. Additional Information Cause=Memory reservation must be 81920 MB at least! Event Id EVT-ENVIRONMENT-00040 Event Name UnsupportedHardwareConfig Description Unsupported virtual machine hardware configuration was detected. This configuration may cause unexpected behavior. Action Fix the hardware configuration to resolve the problem. If problem persists, restart the system.Fra Integrated Data Protection Appliance vCenter viser DDVE den korrekte mængde konfigureret hukommelse (80 GB).
Cause
Problemet opstår under implementering af DDVE. Reservér al gæstehukommelse (alle låst) er ikke valgt.
Resolution
Sådan løser du problemet:
- Åbn vCenter UI for Integrated Data Protection Appliance, højreklik derefter på DDVE, og vælg Rediger indstillinger.
- I Hukommelse skal du vælge Reservér al gæstehukommelse (alle låste) og gemme indstillingen.
- Ryd hændelsen fra Data Domain CLI med kommandoen:
alerts clear alert-id p0-<id>.
