PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM): Sådan installeres PPCP på PPDM Linux-implementeringssystemer

Instructions

For PPDM, der kører i Linux-baserede implementeringer, kører softwaren i et containermiljø. Der kræves derfor et par trin for at køre PowerProtect Command Line Tool (PPCP).

Dells supporttekniker leverer PPCP (ppcp.zip), et støtteværktøj til PPDM-servere, når det er nødvendigt.

Her er proceduren for at uploade PPCP-værktøjet til PPDM-beholderen:
 

  1. Upload ppcp.zip til Linux-miljøet. Kunder kan bruge SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) eller SCP (Secure Copy Protocol) til at overføre filen til Linux-systemet. 

    I dette eksempel vises ikonet ppcp.zip filen uploades til Linux /tmp Register: 
    suse-ppdm:~ # ls -la /tmp/ppcp.zip

  2. I Linux-systemet finder du den interne IP-adresse med kommandoen: 
    ip addr

    I dette laboratoriemiljø er Linux' interne IP-adresse f.eks. 172.24.0.193: 
    suse-ppdm:/tmp # ip addr show dev brpp0

  3. Adgang til PPDM-kerneskallen med kommandoen: 
    sudo ppdmadmin shell -c core

     

  4. Brug scp kommando til at kopiere filen fra Linux til PPDM-beholderen: 
    scp root@<Linux internal IP address>:<path to the file> <local path to the file>

     

    Ikonet ppcp.zip bliver tilgængelig i PPDM-beholderen:

  5. Udpak filen, og føj kørselstilladelsen til filen:

  7. Hvis Dell Support kræver en fil til gennemgang, f.eks. hvis der indsamles en sikkerhedskopi af en intern PPDM-database (ESDB):

Additional Information

SCP fra Linux-systemet til PPDM-containeren er ikke tilladt.

PPDM's interne IP-adresse er 172.24.0.200:
