Symptoms

安裝 Windows 更新後，伺服器重新開機會在 Windows 閃屏畫面停止，且不會繼續。在搭載 Intel Xeon Gold 6246R 處理器的 Windows 2016 Server 版本 1607 （作業系統組建 14393.1884） 上出現此問題。  

啟動時的螢幕檢視位於 Windows 螢幕下方，且在 Windows 螢幕前方有一個虛線圓圈。此處的引導過程應為載入作業系統內核。由於尚未載入作業系統，因此無法執行強制進行 NMI 傾印進行分析的故障診斷步驟。

Cause

無法明讀開機失敗的原因。

Resolution

解決方案是在伺服器 BIOS 中停用 X2APIC。停用 X2APIC 的步驟如下。更新安裝後，可能會重新啟用 X2APIC 功能。  

  1. 在伺服器 iDRAC UI 中，從畫面頂端的程式功能區中選取 「組態」標籤。

  1. 尋找 「處理器設定」區段並選取。

  1. 選取「x2APIC 模式」選項。從功能下拉式欄位中選取 已停用。

  1. 按一下畫面底部 的套用按鈕以實作變更。
