Symptoms

安装 Windows 更新后，服务器重新启动会在 Windows 启动画面处停止，并且不会继续。此问题出现在配备英特尔至强 Gold 6246R 处理器的 Windows 2016 Server 版本 1607（作系统内部版本 14393.1884）上。  

启动时的屏幕视图位于 Windows 屏幕下方，并在 Windows 屏幕前面有一个虚线圆圈。此处的启动过程应加载作系统内核。由于尚未加载作系统，因此无法执行强制 NMI 转储进行分析的故障处理步骤。

Cause

启动失败的原因未知。

Resolution

解决方法是在服务器 BIOS 中禁用 X2APIC。禁用 X2APIC 的步骤如下。安装更新后，可能会重新启用 X2APIC 功能。  

  1. 在服务器 iDRAC UI 中，从屏幕顶部的程序功能区中选择 配置选项卡。

  1. 找到 Processor Settings 部分并选择。

  1. 选择选项 x2APIC Mode。从功能下拉字段中选择 已禁用。

选择选项“x2APIC Mode”，然后更改为“Disabled”

  1. 单击屏幕底部 的 Apply按钮以实施更改。

  1. 要重新启用 x2APIC 模式功能，请执行步骤 1-4，并在步骤 3 中更改为 已启用。
