Symptoms

Bij het uitvoeren van zDP VDG met optie Persistent_Copy_Limit(n), wordt de telwaarde (n) niet verlaagd wanneer saved_snapsets elke dag worden verwijderd, wat het volgende waarschuwingsbericht veroorzaakt.

Cause

Dit komt door een softwareprobleem.

Resolution

Tijdelijke oplossing:
 
  • Gebruik de optie Persistent_Copy_Limit niet.

 Permanente oplossing:
 
  • Voor Mainframe Enablers 8.5 is PTF SF85032 ontwikkeld om dit probleem op te lossen. Het kan worden gedownload van Dell Online Support.
  • Voor Mainframe Enablers 8.4 is PTF SF84115 ontwikkeld om dit probleem op te lossen. Het kan worden gedownload van Dell Online Support.
