Symptoms
Ports in a card are stuck on MOD_VAL.
Disabling and enabling the port does not work.
This issue is related to Brocade case 2224635.
There is a known defect in 9.2.X causing this issue. A hareboot/hafailover is required.
Cause
Known 9.2 defect
FOS-846314 SfpShow indicating Media not installed and switchShow showing a port state of Mod_Val is documented in the FOS 9.2 Release Notes.
Resolution
A hareboot/hafailover addresses the issue.
