使用 SCCM 为笔记本电脑或平板电脑创建映像时，使用 USB Type-C 转以太网适配器时，该工具无法加入域。这是由于 Windows 10（版本 1702-1803）中 2018 版本的 Realtek 以太网驱动程序存在问题。但是，Windows 10（版本 1809 - 最新版本）的同一驱动程序的 2016 版本未出现相同的问题。

戴尔工程组网站发布了 戴尔局域网 （LAN） 转换器串行外围设备接口 （SPI） 闪存禁用工具。此工具必须在与映像过程一起使用的每个网络适配器上运行。
