How to Enable and Disable Maintenance Mode in Secure Connect Gateway

Instructions
Maintenance mode can be set in three different ways:
- Global level: Maintenance mode applies to all monitored devices.
- Device level: Maintenance mode applies to a single device for 30 minutes (extendable); notifications sent to primary/secondary contacts.
- Group level: Maintenance mode applies to all devices in a custom group; can disable for specific devices individually.
1. Enabling Maintenance Mode
A. Global Level

In the SCG header, click Connectivity.

Select Toggle maintenance mode.

Click Turn on.

A yellow Maintenance Mode banner appears at the top of the interface:
B. Device Level

Go to the device overview pane for the target device.

In the Tasks list, click Enable maintenance mode.

Click Yes to confirm.

The device remains in maintenance mode for 30 minutes (extendable).

Notifications are sent to primary/secondary contacts.
C. Group Level

Go to the Device Groups page.

Click the menu icon beside the target group.

Select Enable maintenance mode for devices in the group.

Click Yes, continue.
2. Disabling Maintenance Mode
From the graphical interface (preferred)

Click Connectivity in the SCG header.

Select Toggle maintenance mode.

Click Turn off.
