Avamar: Hardware Gen4s: La temperatura della batteria è alta

Symptoms

Nell'interfaccia utente di Avamar o nei registri viene visualizzato il seguente errore:

<MRMON145> Controller ID:  0   Battery temperature is high
È anche possibile inviare una richiesta di servizio Dial Home.

Cause

La batteria del controller sul nodo si guasta perché la temperatura è troppo alta. 
La root cause è sconosciuta.

Resolution

  1. Accedere all'Avamar Server come admin, elevare il livello di root e caricare le chiavi SSH.

  1. Utilizzando le informazioni dell'evento dell'interfaccia utente o della richiesta di servizio Dial Home, determinare il nodo che ha generato il messaggio di errore.
  2. Connettersi a tale nodo come root:
ssn 0.# --user=root

Dove 0.# è il numero del nodo fisico

  1. Estrazione /var/log/messages utilizzando il comando applicabile riportato di seguito:
bunzip2 /var/log/messages*
gunzip /var/log/messages*
xz --decompress /var/log/messages*
  1. Verificare che i registri indichino che la temperatura della batteria è troppo alta:
grep -i battery /var/log/messages*

  1. Se i criteri di cui sopra sono soddisfatti, creare una Service Request fornendo l'output precedente per determinare se è necessaria la sostituzione di un nodo.
  2. Se i criteri sopra indicati non sono soddisfatti e la batteria funziona come previsto, non sono necessarie ulteriori azioni.
