NetWorker: NMDA: Client Direct wordt niet gebruikt door Informix-back-up

Symptoms

  • De Client Direct-functie werkt niet op Informix-back-up.
  • Informix-back-up gaat naar het storageknooppunt (niet rechtstreeks naar het doel).
  • Back-ups van het bestandssysteem maken gebruik van Client Direct.
  • Advanced File-Type Device (AFTD) gemaakt op een NAS-server die NFS-gekoppeld is aan het storageknooppunt.

 

 

Cause

Het NAS-apparaat is geconfigureerd voor het gebruik van beveiligde poorten, waardoor niet-rootgebruikers niet naar het apparaat kunnen schrijven.

Resolution

De NFS-server mag ook de toegang tot clients niet beperken door alleen geprivilegieerde poorten te gebruiken.
Wijzig de NFS-instellingen op het NAS-apparaat om het gebruik van beveiligde poorten uit te schakelen.
