Symptoms

Hyper-V VM 백업 중에 체크포인트 생성이 실패하고 다음 오류가 표시됩니다.

VM could not initiate a checkpoint operation (0x80048102).
Failed to switch using the new differencing disks during a checkpoint operation: The volume for a file has been externally altered so that the opened file is no longer valid. (0x800703EE). (Virtual machine ID XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX)', remove VM from backup object list.

Cause

Windows Hyper-V Manager를 사용한 수동 체크포인트가 오류와 함께 실패함 0x800703EE Hyper-V 클러스터 환경. 체크포인트를 생성하는 동안 Hyper-V Server가 새 차이점 보관용 디스크를 사용하도록 전환하지 못했습니다. 0x800703EE 파일의 볼륨이 외부에서 변경되어 열려 있는 파일이 더 이상 유효하지 않습니다.

Resolution

VHDX 검사점 만들기 실패를 해결하기 위한 단계는 다음과 같습니다.

  1. 영향을 받는 VM을 다른 호스트로 마이그레이션합니다.
  2. 장애 조치(failover) 클러스터링 관리자로 이동하고 Live Migration을 사용하여 영향을 받는 VM을 다른 호스트로 마이그레이션합니다.
  3. Hyper-V 관리자를 사용하여 수동 체크포인트를 수행할 수 있는지 확인합니다.
  4. 수동 체크포인트가 성공한 경우 수동 체크포인트를 삭제하고 백업을 수행합니다.
