Instructions

  1. Accertarsi che la VM sia accesa.
  2. Cliccare con il pulsante destro del mouse sulla VM a sinistra
    • Fai clic su Ospite
    • Cliccare su Install/Upgrade VMware Tools
  3. Cliccare sul pulsante Okay per confermare che la VM è accesa
  4. L'ISO di VMware Tools è ora collegato alla VM come unità ottica.
  5. Attendere qualche istante per il mounting automatico dell'ISO come CD-ROM nel sistema operativo.
  6. # cd /tmp/vmtools
# gunzip vmware-solaris-tools.tar.gz
# tar xvf  vmware-solaris-tools.tar
# cd vmware-tools-distrib
# ./vmware-install.pl
  7. Rispondere alle domande per completare l'installazione. Generalmente è possibile rispondere con le risposte predefinite premendo il tasto [Enter].
  8. Copiare VM Tools in una directory temporanea ed estrarre il file:< ># mkdir /tmp/vmtools# ls /cdrom/vmwaretools# cp /cdrom/vmwaretools/vmware-solaris-tools.tar.gz /tmp/vmtoolsStart L'installazione:
