Herunterladen von NetWorker

Die Registerkarte Treiber und Downloads enthält NetWorker-Softwarepakete für jedes unterstützte Betriebssystem. In diesem Wissensdatenbank-Artikel wird gezeigt, wie Linux für x64 installiert wird.

Das Paket wird als nwVERSION_linux_architecture heruntergeladen.tar.gz
Kopieren Sie das heruntergeladene NetWorker-Paket auf den Linux-Host: NetWorker (Linux): Kopieren von Dateien auf oder von einem Linux NetWorker-Server
Sobald das Paket auf den Linux-Host kopiert wurde, können Sie es mit dem tar-Befehl extrahieren: 
tar xvf PACKAGE

Das komprimierte Paket wird in einen neuen Ordner linux_Architektur extrahiert.

NetWorker-Pakete:

Paketname Beschreibung
lgtoclnt NetWorker-Client-Software. Erforderlich für die Durchführung clientbasierter Backups des Linux-Hosts von einem NetWorker-Server. Clientbasierte Backups sind alle Backuptypen, bei denen der Linux-Host als Clienteintrag auf dem NetWorker-Server erstellt wurde.  Das Clientpaket ist erforderlich, wenn NetWorker-Server-, Storage-Node- und/oder NetWorker Management Console (NMC)-Software auf einem Host installiert wird.  
lgtoxtdclnt Erweiterte NetWorker-Client-Software Bietet Unterstützung für NetWorker Snapshot Management (NSM), Clusterintegration, Integration von nutzerdefinierten Skripten und NetWorker-Modulunterstützung. Weitere Funktionen sind im NetWorker-Installationshandbuch ausführlich beschrieben. NetWorker-Server benötigen dieses Paket.
lgtobbb

Wird verwendet, um blockbasierte Backups (BBB) auf dem Linux-Host durchzuführen. Erfordert Linux Standard Base (lsb) verpackt werden. Diese wird über das Software-Repository des Betriebssystemanbieters abgerufen. 
lgtoadpt Das Paket lgtoadpt ist erforderlich, wenn sich NetWorker Module for Microsoft (NMM)-Clients in der NetWorker-Datenzone befinden.
lgtoauthc NetWorker-Authentifizierungsservice (AUTHC). Erforderlich für den NetWorker-Serverdienst, um Authentifizierungsfunktionen mit NetWorker-Schnittstellen und APIs bereitzustellen. Erfordert NetWorker-Laufzeitumgebung: NetWorker-Laufzeitumgebung (NRE): Einführung und Installation 
lgtonode NetWorker-Storage-Node-Software. Erforderlich für den NetWorker-Server. Optional kann er zusammen mit der NetWorker-Clientsoftware installiert werden, um als "eigenständiger" NetWorker-Storage-Node zu fungieren. Der Storage Node wird auf einem vorhandenen NetWorker-Server registriert und zum Mounten von NetWorker-Geräten verwendet. 
lgtoserv NetWorker-Serversoftware. Wird verwendet, um eine NetWorker-Schutzdatenzone zu konfigurieren.
Erfordert lgtoclnt, lgtoxtdclnt, lgtoadpt, lgtoauthc, lgtonode.
Erfordert NetWorker-Laufzeitumgebung: NetWorker-Laufzeitumgebung (NRE): Einführung und Installation 
lgtonwuiserv NetWorker-NWUI-Server (Web User Interface). Webbasiertes Verwaltungsdienstprogramm.
Dieses Paket wird bei der Installation der NWUI auf einem NetWorker-Serverhost verwendet: NetWorker Management Web UI (NWUI): Anleitung zur Installation
Erfordert NetWorker-Laufzeitumgebung: NetWorker-Laufzeitumgebung (NRE): Einführung und Installation

Installation:

Der folgende Prozess zeigt den Installationsprozess für die Installation von x64 Linux als NetWorker-Server. Die folgenden Befehlsbeispiele werden in dem Ordner ausgeführt, der das extrahierte NetWorker-Paket enthält.

CentOS, Oracle Enterprise Linux, SuSE und Red Hat:

Konfigurationsskript für die NetWorker-Authentifizierung (AUTHC): /opt/nsr/authc-server/scripts/authc_configure.sh

  • Konfiguration der AUTHC-Datenbank und der Systemdateien: /nsr/authc und /opt/nsr/authc-server
  • Konfiguration von AUTHC Keystore und Kennwort
  • Definiert Ports, die vom AUTHC-Service verwendet werden (Standard: 9090).
  • Konfigurieren des standardmäßigen NetWorker-Administratornutzerkontos und -kennworts

Konfigurationsskript für die NetWorker-Webnutzeroberfläche (NWUI): /opt/nwui/scripts/nwui_configure.sh

  • Konfiguration der NWUI-Datenbank und der Systemdateien: /nsr/nwui und /opt/nwui
  • Konfigurieren von NWUI-Keystore und -Kennwort
  • Definiert Ports, die vom NWUI-Service verwendet werden (Standard 9095 und 5435)
  • Legt den Authentifizierungsserver fest, der von der NWUI verwendet wird.

Konfigurationsskript für die NetWorker Management Console (NMC):  /opt/lgtonmc/bin/nmc_config

  • Konfiguration der NMC-Datenbank und der Systemdateien: /opt/nsr/nmc und /opt/lgtonmc
  • Konfiguration des von NMC verwendeten Zertifikats
  • Definiert die vom NMC-Server verwendeten Ports (Standard 9000, 9001 und 5432)
  • Legt den für die NMC-Authentifizierung verwendeten AUTHC-Server fest

The installation process will install an Apache Tomcat instance.
For optimum security, EMC NetWorker Authentication Service will
use a non-root user (nsrtomcat) to start the Apache Tomcat instance.
If your system has special user security requirements, ensure that proper
operational permissions are granted to this non-root user (nsrtomcat).
Please refer to NetWorker Installation Guide.

The Apache Tomcat will use "lnx-srvr01.networker.lan" as the host name.
The Apache Tomcat will use "9090" as the port number.

The NetWorker Authentication Service requires a keystore file to configure encryption and to provide SSL support.

EMC recommends that you specify a keystore password that has a minimum of six characters.

The installation process will create a new keystore file.

The NetWorker Authentication Service defines automatically an administrator user account
named administrator in the NetWorker Authentication Service local database.
This account is specific to the administration of the NetWorker Authentication Service, and
is not related to other administrator accounts on this system.

Servicemanagement:

NetWorker-Services können mithilfe von systemd beendet und gestartet werden. Zum Beispiel:

systemctl [ stop | start | restart ] networker
Oder: 
service networker [ stop | start | restart ]

NetWorker kann auch mithilfe des folgenden Befehls beendet werden: 
nsr_shutdown
HINWEIS: Die Spalte nsr_shutdown Skript und "networker"-Service gelten nur für die NetWorker-Client-, Storage-Node- und Server-Services. Die NetWorker-Webnutzeroberfläche (NWUI) verwendet einen eigenen Service (nwui), der unabhängig von den NetWorker-Services gesteuert wird. Der NetWorker Management Console-Server verwendet einen eigenen Service (gst), der unabhängig von den NetWorker-Services gesteuert wird.
