Symptoms

使用者使用SLES12SP5作業系統在執行 19.3 及更新版本的 Avamar 伺服器上安裝 2021 R3 作業系統安全性匯總後，Avamar UI 會在事件表中顯示與 ConnectEMC 啟動作業失敗相關的核心錯誤。如果裝置中未設定電子郵件設定，就會發生這種情況。

Avamar UI 事件表會顯示 ConnectEMC 啟動錯誤，如下所示：

Cause

使用者升級到裝置版本 2.7.2 後，Avamar 伺服器節點已安裝 SLES12 SP5，並安裝了 2021 R3 作業系統安全性匯總。由於更新的作業系統二進位檔案，ConnectEMC 會在 /opt/connectemc/ConnectEMC_config.xml 組態檔案中有任何空值，甚至是空白處 EmailSender 和 EmailServer 參數。

Resolution

如果您不想設定電子郵件通知，則必須手動將 ConnectEMC_config.xml 使用下列步驟在 Avamar 伺服器上的組態檔案 （清空組態檔案）：

  1. 使用 SSH 與管理員帳戶連線至 Avamar。
  2. 切換至根使用者帳戶。
  3. 重新命名目前的組態檔案。
mv /opt/connectemc/ConnectEMC_config.xml /opt/connectemc/ConnectEMC_config.xml.orig

 

  1. 建立未包含任何值的組態檔案。
touch /opt/connectemc/ConnectEMC_config.xml

 

  1. 確認組態檔案為空。
ls -latr /opt/connectemc/ConnectEMC_config.xml
-rw-rw-r-- 1 root admin 0 Feb  7 22:36 ConnectEMC_config.xml

 

  1. 使用下列命令重新啟動 ConnectEMC 服務：
service connectemc stop
service connectemc start
