Symptoms

 

Microsoft Configuration ManagerでDell Trusted Deviceを導入し、導入タイプのWindowsインストーラー(.msiファイル)を使用すると、インストールがエラー1603で失敗します。

インストール ログには、次の情報が表示されます。

-- MSI LOGGING -- Existing Product Version: , Minimum Product Version to check against: 2.7.99.0
-- MSI LOGGING -- Exception ModifyTDLocallyCachedMsi: Version string portion was too short or too long.
